Certificate description
Firstly, ASME is a family of standards in the United States for pressure vessels, boilers, pipelines, and pressure systems. To produce ASME stamped products, factories must first obtain ASME certification. Once the factory obtains the corresponding certification, it will obtain the corresponding steel stamp. Storage tanks are generally designed and manufactured according to the Bayi standard, and U-stamping is generally used. For countries that export ASME products to the United States, Singapore, Australia, and other countries that recognize ASME products, they are built and approved by AI directly under the company, and can be stamped with steel stamps. The products can then be exported to these countries.
If a company passes ASME certification, it will definitely have a steel stamp
Products that have passed ASME certification may not necessarily have a steel stamp. To be precise, companies without ASME qualifications cannot obtain ASME certification for their products. When you mentioned that the gas storage tank has passed ASME certification, I personally think what you mean is that you designed and manufactured it according to ASME standards, and it has also been built by three parties (whether AI or not) and recognized by all three parties. This situation cannot be stamped, for example, MOM certification, ASME code must be used for design and construction, and authorized personnel must supervise the production. Once the product passes, it cannot be stamped, but there will be a MOM certificate
